This week on Preaching and Preachers, Steve Dighton joins me in a discussion on the pastor and shepherding difficult sheep. Pastor Dighton serves as pastor emeritus at Lenexa Baptist Church in Lenexa, Kansas. He founded Lenexa Baptist Church in 1990 and served as their senior pastor until his retirement in 2015.

Today's episode is from a Q&A on March 5th, 2024 when we invited Dr. Carson for our Sizemore Lecture. Dr. Carson is Emeritus Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. In addition, Dr. Carson is cofounder and theologian-at-large of The Gospel Coalition. He has edited and authored numerous books. He and his wife, Joy, have two children.

Today, Dr. Bumpers welcomes Dr. Steve Mathewson to Preaching and Preachers. Dr. Mathewson serves as Senior Pastor at CrossLife Evangelical Free Church in Libertyville, IL. In addition, he serves as the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Western Seminary. 

Dr. Jared Bumpers joins me back in the studio as co-host as we discuss one of my books, Letters to My Students, Vol. 1. Jared serves here at Midwestern Seminary as Assistant Professor of Preaching and Evangelism and is directing the FTC Cohorts here on campus.

Dr. T. Dale Johnson Jr. joins me this week to discuss the Sufficiency of Scripture in Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Johnson serves as Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) on Midwestern Seminary's Campus. In addition, he serves as Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at Midwestern Seminary.
