He also serves as Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and the pastoral ministries department Chair at The Master’s Seminary in California. He is a contributor to High King of Heaven: Theological and Practical Perspectives on the Person and Work of Jesus.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Jim Hamilton to the podcast. Dr. Hamilton serves as Professor of Biblical Theology at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Also, He serves as Senior Pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He has authored several books including, Typology, God's Glory in Salvation through Judgement, and What is Biblical Theology.

This week on Preaching and Preachers, Dr. Ben Awbrey joins me in a discussion on the preacher and sermon introductions. Dr. Awbrey is Senior Professor of preaching at Midwestern Seminary. He has been teaching expository preaching since 1996 and he has written two books on preaching: How Effective Sermons Begin and How Effective Sermons Advance.

Today, Dr. Jared Bumpers joins me back in the studio as we discuss "Healthy Aspirations for Ministry" which is largely taken from my book, Letters to My Students, Vol. 2.
