This week on Preaching and Preachers, Jerry Vines joins me in a discussion on progress in the pulpit. Mr. Vines was a pastor for over 60 years. He served twice as President of the Southern Baptist Convention, and for over 23 years as pastor of the internationally recognized First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida.

This week on Preaching and Preachers, Dave Furman joins me in a discussion on the pastor and trials. Dave serves as the senior pastor of Redeemer Church of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He is the author of a couple books, including a recent publication titled Kiss the Wave: Embracing God in Your Trials.

Zane served as dean of the Billy Graham School from 2011-2013 before returning to the International Mission Board where he now serves as vice president for Global Training. He had served previously with the IMB from 1991-2011 as a church planter and regional leader in Central Asia.
