This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Tim Cooper to the podcast. Dr. Cooper serves as Professor of Church History at Otago University in New Zealand. Recently, Dr. Cooper worked on a newly updated and abridged version of Richard Baxter’s The Reformed Pastor, which was released in July of this year.

Today, I want to welcome Daniel Darling to the podcast. Daniel is the Director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a columnist for World Magazine and a contributor to USA Today. Dan is a bestselling author of several books including, The Dignity Revolution, A Way With Words, and The Characters of Christmas. He has pastored churches in Illinois and Tennessee.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Charles Smith Jr. to the podcast. Charles serves as the Senior Vice President for Institutional Relations and Assistant Professor of Christian Leadership. Dr. Smith oversees Midwestern’s offices of Admissions, Church Partnerships, Communications, Financial Aid, Institutional Relations Initiatives, and Student Life and Events. In addition to his seminary responsibilities, Dr. Smith served in varying ministry positions at churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Kentucky.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Bart Barber to the podcast. Bart Barber serves as the current President of the SBC. He also serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas, where he has been since 1999. Bart is a native of Lake City, Arkansas, and has served churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Heath Thomas to the podcast. Heath became the President of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK in January 2020. Today, I want to welcome Dr. Allan Moseley to the podcast. Allan is the Senior Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Dr. Moseley is the author of several books including, Living Well: God's Wisdom from the Book of Proverbs and From the Study to the Pulpit. He has also pastored in North Raleigh in NC and currently serves as interim pastor.
