Today, I want to welcome Matt Carter to the podcast. Matt is the Vice President of Mobilization for the North American Mission Board’s Send Network. Today, I want to welcome Dr. Bart Barber to the podcast. Bart Barber serves as the current President of the SBC. He also serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas, where he has been since 1999. Bart is a native of Lake City, Arkansas, and has served churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Heath Thomas to the podcast. Heath became the President of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK in January 2020. Dr. Thomas is the author of several books including, A Manifesto for Theological Interpretation, Exalting Jesus in 1-2 Samuel, and Faith Amid the Ruins: The Book of Habakkuk. He has also pastored churches in Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, and the United Kingdom.

Today, I want to welcome Tony Merida to the podcast. Tony is the Pastor for Preaching at Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, N.C. He is also the Dean of Grimké Seminary and Director of Theological Training for Acts 29. He has written numerous books in the Christ-Centered Exposition Series, The Christ-Centered Expositor, and Love Your Church.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Allan Moseley to the podcast. Allan is the Senior Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Dr. Moseley is the author of several books including, Living Well: God's Wisdom from the Book of Proverbs and From the Study to the Pulpit. He has also pastored in North Raleigh in NC and currently serves as interim pastor.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Geoff Chang to the podcast. Geoff serves as Assistant Professor of Church History and Historical Theology and as the Curator of the Spurgeon Library. In addition to his seminary responsibilities, Dr. Chang has served in various pastoral roles in Texas, Washington D.C., Oregon, and recently at Wornall Road Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. Today, we discuss his published work called, “Spurgeon the Pastor” with B&H Publishing.

Today, I want to welcome Dr. Todd Chipman to the podcast. Todd is the Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Scripture Storyline and has published articles and book reviews in The Midwestern Journal of Theology and Expository Times. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature. Todd has been the teaching pastor at The Master’s Community Church (SBC) in Kansas City, Kansas since 2000.
