Dr. Benge serves as Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality and Historical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is an accomplished theologian and author, having published multiple works including his most recent book: The Loveliest Place: The Beauty and Glory of the Church, released with Crossway Publishers in March of 2022.

This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Michael Lawrence to the podcast. Dr. Lawrence serves as the lead pastor of Hinson Baptist Church in Portland, OR, and as a council member of The Gospel Coalition. He is an accomplished author publishing multiple works including Biblical Theology in the Life of the Church, It Is Well: Expositions on Substitutionary Atonement with Mark Dever, and Conversion: How God Creates a People, released in 2017 with 9Marks.

This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Alan Branch to the podcast. Dr. Branch serves as Professor of Christian Ethics here at Midwestern Seminary, and also serves as a Research Fellow in Christian Ethics for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is an accomplished author having published multiple books including his most recent work 50 Ethical Questions: Biblical Wisdom for Confusing Times.

This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Robert Yarbrough to the podcast. Dr. Yarbrough serves as Professor of New Testament at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo.

He is an accomplished scholar having published many works including his contribution to the ESV Expository Commentary on Romans, Clash of Visions: Populism and Elitism in New Testament Theology, and many more including his Baker exegetical commentary on 1-3 John.

This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Mark Jones to the podcast. Dr. Jones is the senior minister of Faith Vancouver Church in Canada. He is also an accomplished author having written multiple books including Living for God, Knowing Christ, and his most recent work, Knowing Sin: Seeing a Neglected Doctrine Through the Eyes of the Puritans.

This week I am delighted to welcome Dr. Bryant Wright and his wife Mrs. Anne Wright to the podcast. Dr. Wright serves as Founder and Chairman of “Right From the Heart Ministries,” and as President of the Southern Baptist Convention’s relief organization, Send Relief. Dr. Wright also served as the Founding Senior Pastor of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and retired in 2019 from his pastorate after serving for 38 years.
